Ignorance is Bliss, (in some cases)

I guess in some cases that ignorance is bliss. This video is  about 5 minutes long but says so much about the so called enlightened, progressive party of Obama. Especially the one who says “whatever my President wants, I’ll support” that is truly frightening. That is the same type of thinking that gets anybody in trouble. “Just following orders” etc, etc–you know where unthinking and blind loyalty leads.

Those same non-thinking fools idiots Kool-aid drinkers  leftists then buy into this line of BS: “we all belong to the Government”.  What! Wait, I don’t belong to the government, I use the government when necessary, but the government belongs to me. For without the producers paying taxes there would be no government. Dummies!

Simple question

It is impossible to raise the tax high enough on the “rich” to pay off the debt. Take all their money and it would not make much of a dent in the debt. It’s not rocket surgery, there is not enough money in the GDP to pay off the debt:

Debt as of 07/31/12=15,933,234,637,493.00, GDP as of 2011=15,094,000,000,000.

I know most of you are capable of doing the math, so tell me how taxing the “rich” is going to pay off the debt?

A (re-)statement of questions.

This was from June of 2011. The questions are still relevant–they’ll always be relevant.

QOTD: “The [Sixth Circuit] majority [decision upholding Obamacare’s individual mandate] is ludicrous. It stated, “Virtually everyone will need health care services at some point, including, in the aggregate, those without health insurance.”

“All of us will need shelter. Should government control the residential housing market and compel individuals to buy approved housing?

All of us will need clothes. Should government control the clothing market and compel individuals to buy approved clothing?

All of us will need food. Should government control the food supply and compel individuals to buy only approved foods?

All of us will need transportation. Should government control all modes of transportation and compel individuals to buy only approved transportation services?

And, now that the Constitution has been shredded, where does this control over the individual end?

I’ll tell you where it ends: with the destruction of this Republic, by a fifth column called the cadaver of the Democrat Party, a once-proud and patriotic group that has been utterly subsumed by the maggots known as Marxists.” Doug Ross

(Emphasis above  is mine)

This is ONLY about the Federal Government getting more power; if you believe that a great lumbering bureaucracy cares about you, you’re delusional enough to vote for Obama. You’re delusional enough to believe that more spending will result in a lower debt, crazy enough to believe that if we are just nice to the Islamists that they will make nice with us. And probably in so much denial that you believe that what happens on American Idol/The Voice/Jersey Shores–whatever– is important   If you believe any of that, Please, please do not vote! You’re part of the problem. (Hey, if the Panthers can physically intimidate voters and get away with it, I can beg you not to vote)

Look at Europe, do you really want to go down that path? that way leads to Greece, Spain, etc. Nothing but shells of their former glory, with a large dependent class and unsustainable debt. The CBO estimates that by 2035 Americas debt service will take 200% of GDP to pay–Impossible! My prediction is we won’t last until 2035 if we don’t change our present direction NOW! and continue in 2012 with a sweeping out of the spenders (either party),drastically reduce spending (back to FY 2001 levels), lower taxes (or eliminate them and go with the Fair Tax) otherwise, say goodbye to our country as we know it. That would mean our children and grandchildren would be stuck with something that is hard for me to envision; a world with no where to go to escape the stifling, choking stench of Socialism/Marxism/oppressiveness. No place to escape to, to be able to enjoy individual liberty, freedom.

We have to get back to the Constitution. To the founding ideas. We have to desire freedom and liberty more than convenience and pleasure.

Pray for our country.

It’s all Bush’s fault (Not!)

It seems any time Mr. Obama speaks about the difficulty of the ongoing economic downturn, he manages to say something along the lines of ” my administration inherited this problem”. He usually manages to say it more than once in the speech, conversation or whatever.

Well, let him continue to say he inherited this mess (though it is tiresome and predictable) —but!–he ran for the job and spent hundreds of millions of dollars to win the job. So Mr. Obama: Shut the hell up and get on with doing your job!

He did inherit the problem–from a DEMOCRAT controlled Congress. The congress turned over in 2006. The last budget that the Republicans signed off on was for 2007. The deficit for that year was $160 million. A mere pittance by Obama’s standards.

You’ll notice from the charts that the problem with the growing deficit, hence the out of control debt, is the spending, not the revenue stream.

h/t: Doug Ross

We can’t, can not, no way, no how support or sustain this spending level. We have got to get rid of these clowns in Congress and the Administration who believe that we can spend our way out of this problem. Look at Europe! Greece is going up in flames. Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ireland–they’re next. What makes anyone believe that the USA is immune from reality?

This is not rocket surgery! If you spend more than you take in you have a deficit, which equals debt that has to be repaid eventually. That eventuality is coming on quickly. Obama has presided over the first bond rating downgrade in our history! Our bonds are rapidly becoming worth less, soon other countries are not going to finance our debt. Then what?  “Turn out the lights, the party’s over”.

The major problem is the entitlement class that the politicians (both parties) keep cultivating. They are not going to vote out of office the zombie rat bastard politician that keeps their check coming. And they are not going to vote for somebody that talks about cutting their government umbilical.

This may be (probably is) our last chance to start correcting this disaster: Vote out anyone who has been in office longer than one term! But especially vote out the whiny, narcissistic pretender in the Peoples House.

I’ll be in the bunker.

GM (Government Motors) taxed less than Buffet’s secretary.

Since Obama gave GM to his buddies at the UAW while screwing the  holders of GM bonds this is one of their rewards. Oh yeah, the regime is also giving at least $7500 tax credit to any fool that buys a Volt. Your tax dollars at work folks.

This chart is out of date by about a +trillion dollars, but the trend is the same. How’s that Hope and Change working out for you?

I’ve read somewhere today that the folks with the silk panties at the State Department have advised all non-essential personnel to leave the embassy in Egypt. Lord, if we could get all non-essential personnel to leave D.C. permanently, we could go a long way toward solving our economic, and social problems. The same applies to the state governments.

I made sure I tagged some of the key words, so the DOJ goons could track me easier.  Sleep well my friends, because Big Brother is watching you.

Not only is Obama incompetent, so’s his whole regime.

Here’s one of the problems I have with Mr. Obama: I knew he was the least qualified in experience to be the most powerful executive in the world. I at least hoped he would surround himself with competent advisors and Cabinet members.  Well, that doesn’t seem to have worked out very well.

Here are some of his choices for “Czars”, remember we are paying for these folks:

Richard Holbrooke

Afghanistan Czar

Ultra liberal anti gun former Gov. of New Mexico. Pro Abortion and legal drug use. Dissolve the 2nd Amendment

Ed Montgomery

Auto recovery Czar

Black radical, anti- business activist.  Pro Affirmative Action and Job Preference for blacks. Univ of Maryland Business School Dean teaches US business has caused world poverty. ACORN board member. Communist DuBois Club member.

Lynn Rosenthal

Domestic Violence Czar

Director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence. Vicious anti male feminist. Supported male castration. Imagine that.

Cameron Davis

Great Lakes Czar

Chicago radical anti business environmentalist. Blames George Bush for “Poisoning the water that minorities have to drink.” No experience or training in water management. Former ACORN Board member (what does that tell us?)

Cass Sunstein

Regulatory Czar

Liberal activist judge believes free speech needs to be limited for the “common good”. Essentially against 1st amendment. Rules against personal freedoms many times -like private gun ownership and right to free speech. This guy has to be run out of Washington!!

Go here to see the full list: http://mishmashofmiscellanea.blogspot.com/2011/10/amrican-czarswho-thought-it-was-good.html

See a pattern? Yeah, they are all  left wing nut jobs and most are ignorant of their area of responsibility.

The problem with all this is these people make the rules that are then propagated to us lowly peons (for that is truly how this regime thinks of us) and unless there are court or legislative relief these rules or regulations will stand even after this regime is history. We’re so screwed.

Let us mention the department heads that have ravaged the rule of law-yeah I’m talking to you Eric Holder! The NLRB that wouldn’t “permit” Boeing to move part of their manufacturing to a right-to-work state because the unions were upset.  How about denying bondholder rights when the regime took over GM and Chrysler? Etc., etc.  This is the most corrupt administration I have lived through and I lived through LBJ and Nixon.

In a sane world, Holder and most of the other people in this regime would have already been indicted and on trial. I’m leaving out Obama, because then VP  Bite me Biden would be President, and he is incompetent.

We the people started a change in the 2010 elections with taking back the House, but since The Dear Leader this President is determined to get his way with executive orders and signing statements ( for which, as a candidate, Obama denounced  Bush), our majority is not doing much good, and don’t get me started on the lack of leadership in the House.  We have to continue  cleaning up this mess by getting rid of this regime. Then start rolling back the idiotic over- regulated, nanny state this country has become.

2012 is it folks. If The One Barack  Obama is re-elected I predict chaos, turmoil, and an end to the American dream. Maybe even an end to the United States.  Oh, I don’t think I’ll live long enough to see that, but my children probably will and for sure my grandchildren.  Because his re-election will ensure that the election in 2016 will be dominated by the over 50% of voters who get their sustenance from the dole. And when there is a majority of voters on the public teat, what do you think the odds are that those same voters will vote themselves off the public teat? About the same odds as Eric Holder and I going out for drinks.

The headline says “Not only is Obama incompetent, so’s his whole regime.” I’m thinking that might be misleading, because although I think he is in way over his head, his handlers have us right where they want us.

<end rant>

Tax the Rich!

We’ve all seen the signs from those oh- so- pleasant people in the Occupy movement. “Tax The Rich”  “The 1% don’t pay their fair share”! etc, etc, ad nauseum. Well try this explanation on for size. If the richest corporations and citizens were to be taxed 100% on their world wide profit, we could finance the proposed spending for 1 year. Then what?

Watch this video for a much better explanation, this is worth your time:

Tax the rich mentality

If you are a deadbeat don’t read this.

If you pay taxes you should read this. If you are part of the 47% who don’t pay taxes and think that we 53% who do pay owe you, then don’t bother to read it. Just go back to watching “DWTS” or whatever mindless drivel keeps you from thinking.
